Its that time of the month again, the results of last months Dublin Comic Jam are up online and we’re holding the new Dublin Comic Jam on Thursday 30th January back upstairs in the Lord Edward pub, Christchurch , Dublin 2. Any of you Dublin/Ireland based humans are welcome to come along.

Virtual submissions are always welcome - draw a random panel/starting point, email it to dublincomicjam@gmail.com and we’ll bring them along to the event for everyone to add to.

You can view over 5 years of jams (i estimate in excess of 200 pages!) here.

Finished my submission for the Kus ‘Villages’ book last night. I like how this sequence plays out visually. I may need to edit the dialogue and text a bit, though. How does it fit into the theme of ‘Villages’? You’ll just have to wait and see!

Furiously working away on my submission to Kus. Deadlilne is tomorrow evening. Here are a couple of my favourite panels so far.

This lovely piece is from last months Dublin Comic Jam. Next jam is on this Thursday 29th August 2013 from 8pm. Wanna be involved virtually (kinda like Tupac’s hologram jamming with Snoop Dogg in 2012)? Email a doodle/isolated panel/starting point to dublincomicjam@gmail.com, we’ll riff on it in the live environment and post the results to the blog!
Oh yeah I believe the artists in the above two panels are Phillip Barrett and Gus Hughes!
